Adama Thiam

Born and based in Dakar (Senegal), Adama Thaim was trained at the National School of Arts in Dakar, from 2013 to 2017, and distinguished herself with a rash thanks to the kola nut. She becomes, through her artistic creations, the promoter of this fruit, whose cultural significance is recognized throughout Africa. In 2016, she was a cultural mediator for the Dakar Biennale (DAK'ART 2016) at the international exhibition at the Ancien Palais. In 2018, she began her career as a professional artist and her paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Europe.

Adama describes her works as centered on themes related to solidarity, sharing and cultural diversity. She most often creates with mixed media using acrylics and oils on canvas.
